PROFESSIONAL PAVER SEALING IN PALM BEACH COUNTY

Restore the rich color and protect your pavers from Florida's sun, rain, and humidity. We clean, re-sand joints, and seal with premium sealant for results that last years -- not months.

WHY YOUR PAVERS NEED SEALING IN SOUTH FLORIDA

Florida's combination of intense UV rays, daily afternoon thunderstorms, and year-round humidity is brutal on paver surfaces. Without sealant, pavers fade, joints erode, weeds take root, and the surface becomes permanently stained by everything from leaf tannins to rust to oil.

Unsealed pavers in Palm Beach County typically show visible deterioration within 12 to 18 months of installation. The joint sand washes out, creating gaps where weeds and ant colonies thrive. The surface becomes porous, absorbing stains that no amount of pressure washing can remove. And the rich colors you paid for when the pavers were installed fade to a washed-out gray.

Professional paver sealing reverses this damage and prevents it from recurring. At Pressure Wash of Palm Beach, our three-step process -- clean, re-sand, seal -- restores your pavers to their original appearance and protects them for 2 to 3 years, even in South Florida's harsh conditions.

WHAT WE SEAL

  • Paver driveways (brick, travertine, concrete)
  • Patio and lanai pavers
  • Pool deck pavers
  • Walkways and garden paths
  • Paver borders and accent bands
  • Commercial paver areas
  • Retaining walls (paver/block)

OUR THREE-STEP PAVER SEALING PROCESS

Step 1 -- DEEP CLEAN: We pressure wash every paver at the right PSI (1,500-2,500) to remove all dirt, mold, algae, and stains without dislodging joint sand unnecessarily. Heavily stained areas get a pre-treatment with our cleaning solution.

Step 2 -- RE-SAND JOINTS: After cleaning, we sweep polymeric sand into all joints. Polymeric sand hardens when activated with water, locking the pavers in place and preventing weed growth, ant infestations, and joint erosion. This step is critical and often skipped by less experienced companies.

Step 3 -- SEAL: We apply a premium-grade paver sealant using professional spraying equipment for even coverage. You choose between wet look (gloss) or matte (natural) finish. The sealant penetrates the paver surface, enhancing color, repelling water and stains, and providing UV protection.

WET LOOK VS. MATTE SEALANT

Wet Look (Gloss): Deepens and enriches paver colors dramatically. Gives a 'just rained' sheen that makes pavers look new. Most popular for driveways and front walkways where curb appeal matters most.

Matte (Natural Look): Protects without significantly changing appearance. Ideal for pool decks and patios where a natural look is preferred. Same level of protection as wet look, just without the shine.

We can apply a test patch of each so you can compare before we seal the full area.

BEFORE & AFTER

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Paver sealing in Palm Beach County typically costs between $1.50 and $3.00 per square foot, which means a standard driveway runs $500 to $1,500 and a patio or pool deck runs $400 to $1,200. This includes cleaning, joint re-sanding, and sealing. Pressure Wash of Palm Beach provides free estimates -- call (561) 603-3499.

In South Florida, pavers should be sealed every 2 to 3 years. Florida's intense UV exposure, heavy rainfall, and humidity break down sealant faster than in cooler climates. High-traffic areas like driveways may need resealing closer to every 2 years, while shaded patios may last up to 3 years between applications.

Our paver sealing process includes three steps: First, we pressure wash the pavers to remove all dirt, mold, algae, and stains. Second, we re-sand the joints with polymeric sand, which hardens when wet and prevents weed growth and ant hills. Third, we apply a premium paver sealant that enhances color, protects against UV fading, and repels stains and moisture.

Both are excellent options. A wet look (gloss) sealant deepens the color of your pavers and gives them a rich, just-installed appearance. A matte (natural look) sealant protects without changing the appearance significantly. We carry both options and can apply a test area so you can see the difference before committing to the full job.

Yes. Pool deck paver sealing is one of our most popular services. We use non-slip sealant formulations specifically designed for pool areas to maintain traction when wet. The sealant also protects against chlorine water damage and makes the pavers easier to clean.

Paver sealant is typically dry to foot traffic within 4 to 6 hours and fully cured within 24 to 48 hours. We recommend keeping vehicles off sealed driveways for at least 48 hours. Drying time depends on temperature, humidity, and sun exposure -- South Florida's warm climate generally speeds up the curing process.
